David Lee Roth, EMT
This story really bums me out. David Lee Roth has decided to become an EMT in New York City. Yes, you read that right. Arguably the greatest frontman in crotch rock history is training to be a part-time EMT.
Roth says that medicine is in his family. His father was a surgeon and other relatives were "in the medical community." I can't help but imagine Dave's next family gathering being like the scene in "Meet the Parents" where Ben Stiller's character reveals that he is a nurse while all of his in-laws are accomplished doctors.
The E! article speculates that this is a reaction to Sammy Hagar rejoining Van Halen for a tour. I would like to think that Dave could come up with a better stunt that this.
