Digital Living Network Alliance
According to News.com, the Digital Home Working Group will announce Tuesday a new name, Digital Living Network Alliance, and release guidelines for its 145 member companies which include Sony, Microsoft and HP.
I am excited about the idea of having a set of standards for sharing digital content between various consumer electronics and PC-based products. While I currently have a Home Theater PC to do all of the heavy-lifting, I would much prefer having standalone components that could do the same thing.
