Stranger finds a home with EA
Good news for Oddworld fans (especially my son Mahlon). EA confirmed that it will publish the new Oddworld title, referred to as "Stranger," for PS2 and Xbox sometime in 2005.
"Stranger" was featured in a Discovery Channel documentary on Microsoft last year that predicted a 2004 release date; however, Oddworld Inhabitants and Microsoft have gone their separate ways.
This GameSpot article gives more details on the arrangement as well as a brief interview with Oddworld cofounder Lorne Lanning about the upcoming game.
