FFL: sMoRTy71 92, Lyndon Llamas 88

It's becoming really hard to stay humble this FFL season; however, I'll try to stay strong. After all, as I tell my players each week, "Act like you've been there before and that you plan to be there again."
This week, I was facing a tough (at least I thought they would be tough) Lyndon Llamas team without my starting QB Brett Favre. After Llamas coach Tom Osborne encouraged other FFL owners to snatch up all available QBs ("haterism is a trip"), I was stuck with underachiever Kerry Collins. To make matters worse, Priest Holmes strained his MCL and didn't play for the second half of the game. Plus, I made a coaching mistake (ah, there's some humility!) by not starting Willis McGahee who scored 20 points. It would seem that all of these things would spell victory from the Llamas... but it didn't. The rest of my team, especially the Ravens D, stepped up and I got a 4 point win (some would call that a "mandate").
I am now 7-1-1 which is the best record in the league. I am also second in the league's "Power Ranking" before the SF Reamers. Next week, I play the 5-4 Big Blue Bombers without Priest who is expected to miss the game due to the MCL injury.
