Firefox tweaks
I stumbled upon this link after reading an article on HackADay.com. It lists a couple of ways to speed up Firefox. Even though, I was already satisfied with the performance of FF (especiallu compared to IE), these changes made a noticeable difference.
1. Open Firefox 1.0 and in the address bar type: about:config
2. Find network.http.pipelining and double click on it so it = true
3. Find network.http.pipelining.maxrequests double click on it and change it from 4 to 100
