Started painting exterior of house

Because we want to put the house up for sale in the middle of May, I have been running around like a total idiot doing really big projects in really short period of time (6 day kitchen).
My latest idea was to paint the exterior of the house. The good news is that the house is all brick except for the eaves and gutters. The bad news is that the eaves and gutters have gotten really dingy over the past few years and scrubbing them just doesn't work anymore.
If you were to look at my house, you might think that painting the eaves and gutters would be quick and easy. In fact, I thought the same thing. However, as I mentioned in the first paragraph, I'm acting like a total idiot, so I was wrong (and so are you!).
The first round of painting, which was just the front of the house, the front and side of the garage and the side garage door (and which I thought could be done in a day) took over 14 hours! I had to apply over 3 coats to cover it all. And that was with really good paint (Behr Premium Plus exterior which costs like $25/gallon).
Anyway, I finished that up last night and I am miserably sore. Worse than with the kitchen project. Luckily, I am going back to work today where I can't possibly do anymore home improvement projects (well, at least not for 8 or 9 hours).
