Someone lost an SUV into our pond
The CNET offices in Louisville sit next to a small pond which we affectionately refer to as "Malaria Bay." Over the weekend, we got 10 inches of rain (yes, 10), so the Bay expanded into our parking lot and the basement of the building.
Apparently, someone who wasn't familiar with the layout of our parking lot tried to drive through it while it was under water. Here was the result:

It wasn't anyone that works at CNET, so we're not sure what they were doing in our parking lot on the weekend. This photo was taken this morning after the water had receded several feet. The vehicle would have been completely submerged when it was driven into the pond.
I can only imagine what a surprise that was. I guess it's one of those Jeep things that the rest of us aren't supposed to understand.
