Update on Maddox
First, thanks to everyone who has e-mailed, commented on my previous post, called and twittered with prayers and best wishes for Maddox. It really means a lot to us.

Second, we've gotten some good news about Maddox over the past few days. A trip to the cardiologist determined that his heart is perfectly healthy. And, just this morning, we found out that his cystic fibrosis test was negative. Those were both a huge relief!

First Steps came out to evaluate him this morning and they suggested that silent reflux may be the cause of most of his problems. After looking up the symptoms, Maddox has almost all of them.

We are heading to Cincinnati on Friday to see a pediatric gastroenterologist. We should be able to get some insight into any reflux issues then.

As for his RSV, he is just about over it. His appetite is improving and he is almost back to his old self.

I'll post another update on Friday once we see the gastroenterologist.
