Social Media Breakfast in Cincinnati
1716892071This morning, Jason Falls and I made the short trip up to Cincinnati to attend the Social Media Breakfast. Cincinnati is the 9th city to host such an event.

There was a nice turnout especially when you consider how early we met. Got to connect with a couple people that I already knew like Roger Bauer and Krista Neher and a lot of people that I didn't including Albert Maruggi, Chris Bergman, podcaster Cliff Ravenscraft, Aaron Forgue, Michelle Lentz, Chris Ainsworth and a bunch of other people whose names I didn't write down (Sorry!).

We had a lot of really great discussions with topics ranging from Twitter to how social media impacts traditional media to Mahalo to personal branding to earthquakes. It was a nice change of pace from the panels and social mixers we've held here in Louisville. Everyone was eager and willing to chime in and share what they've learned.

Hi Shawn!

It was great seeing lots of folks at the Social Media Breakfast this morning, many of whom I'd been following on Twitter and elsewhere. I wish we'd had more time to chat informally, but it was good nonetheless.

Keep in touch!

Shawn, as the guy who got the whole Social Media Breakfast Series rolling last summer (we'll be holding our 7th one in Boston this Thursday), it's encouraging to see this concept spreading to other cities.

Cincinnati clearly has a growing social media community -- and it's encouraging to see that you and Jason were willing to cross state lines for the occasion.

Next up: Social Media Breakfast Lousivlle?

It was great to meet you this morning and I am very excited that you drove such a distance to meet with us this morning.

I'm certainly looking forward to growing the awareness of Social Media folks in the Cincinnati, Northern, Ky area.

Shawn,
I just finished my rather lengthy review at http://tinyurl.com/4afn5n

Great to see you and Jason make the trek up, too. The 'Ville representing!
