Sanjaya-ize Yourself goes live
My first social media-related project at Nationwide went live this week. As you may know, Sanjaya Malakar from American Idol is featured in the latest Nationwide TV commercial (you can also see behind-the-scenes making of footage here). I was part of the team responsible for getting the word out about the ad.

In addition to having a press event and doing lots of blogger outreach, we also created a Sanjaya-ize Yourself widget that allows you to try on Sanjaya's unique style. You upload your photo, then choose your hairstyle, clothes and accessories. Depending on which outfit you choose, you will hear one of 3 song clips from the TV commercial followed by Sanjaya singing the "Nationwide is On Your Side" jingle.



Of course, at the end, you can share your Sanjaya-ized self with your friends via e-mail or by posting a link to Facebook, MySpace, digg, del.icio.us and StumbleUpon.
